Visions Art studio has been open since November 2018 and love to share the passion of art with as many people as possible. Visions Art is for beginners right through to the more experienced artist. We enjoy bringing the vision of everyone's imagination or inspiration to life on canvas or paper. Visions want to introduce art to anyone who want to be creative and we can do this in a fun and supportive environment. Art is for beginners to experienced artists. You will be proud of the art that you create as well as feeling relaxed and happy.
Art can be very therapeutic at Visions we hopes that all levels of artists can come in and experience this and develop their creative processes, skills and their enjoyment in art. Visions art classes can teach drawing, colouring, painting, doodling, and sculpting are all art forms that can be therapeutic and fun. Art can be a medium for self healing, it can promote self-exploration and understanding, self-esteem, and awareness. It is a way for a person to improve their mental, emotional, and physical well being their overall health. Your thoughts and feelings can be expressed through your art or you can just have FUN being creative.

Kylie Granger – Kylie's mission is to provide a space that any person no matter what their age or artistic level can create in a relaxed and friendly environment. Everything can be art - art is in the eye of the beholder. Come see and feel the space for yourself
Moire Mathieson - Lead after school and evening art teacher - Moire teaches most after school and regular evening classes as well as individual/personal day lessons. She also supports Kim with adult art and Kylie in the group art bookings.
Kim Hennessy - Adult drawing teacher - Kim is an artist living and working in Governors Bay, Christchurch. Her art education was based in the San Francisco Bay Area while her tutors descended from a legacy of great figurative painters; from Richard Diebenkorn to R.B. Kitaj. Hennessy regularly features at Sculpture on the Peninsula and has been involved in solo, group exhibitions and auctions. Kim has taught privately and held drawing and painting workshops and is especially sensitive to the needs of the inexperienced student.
